In this lesson I will show you how you can manipulate data in Excel Tables using the VSTACK formula.

To achieve this I open SHEET 2, where I have already added data, then go to the MAIN tab, to select FORMAT AS TABLE. From this panel I will select a table style, check the selection and header then click OK.

In the next step I will go to TABLE DESIGN then PROPERTIES, and here I will leave the default name as Table 1 and move on.

I'll open SHEET 3 and here I'll repeat the same procedures from SHEET 2, where I'll create the table by choosing a style, accept the default name for it as TABLE 2, and hit Enter.

=VSTACK(Table1;Table2)

Now I return to SHEET 1 and in the first cell I type the formula VSTACK and as templates I type Table 1 and Table 2 then I give Enter for the formula to take effect.
This is super cool! Now I have all the data from the entire workbook displayed here!

Manipulation of data from TablesVSTACK function details
The syntax of the VSTACK function has the following argument:
array - Attaching Arrays.

=VSTACK(array1,[array2],...)

VSTACK returns the array formed by adding each of the array arguments in a row-by-row fashion. The resulting matrix will have the following dimensions:
Rows:
The combined number of all rows in each of the array arguments.
Columns:
The maximum number of columns in each of the array arguments.
Errors:
If an array has fewer columns than the maximum width of the selected arrays, Excel returns a #N/A error in the extra columns. Use VSTACK inside the IFERROR function to replace #N/A with the value of your choice.
